Good morning! It’s snowing in the Delaware Valley as the Union prep for their final preseason tune-up and a trip to Costa Rica. Lucky them, right? Back home we’ll see the official jersey reveal tomorrow and there’s an event on tap for fans to celebrate the new primary jersey release on Saturday. Stay stafe!

1. 📺 The Union’s Preseason Finale WILL Be Streamed

After trying to follow along via live blog and coverage of our Philly friend and FC Cincinnati beat writer Pat Brennan of what was a wild 120 minutes, Union fans will get to actually watch another preseason match on Wednesday afternoon.

The Union take on New England Revolution at 1 p.m. for a Valentine’s Day afternoon friendly.

The match will be streamed on PhiladelphiaUnion.com.

2. 🎻 ‘The Art of the Doop’ Jersey Event is Saturday

Happening on Saturday February 17, the Philadelphia Union will host its kit launch for 2024. The event titled “Art of Doop” will happen at Subaru Park between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Over the weekend the Union made the announcement with an incredible video posted to its social media accounts. The video is of a string quartet playing the goal celebration snippet of "Maria (I Like It Loud)." While the quartet plays on the field, highlights from the Union are playing behind them on the big jumbotron.

The Major League Soccer team announced that the event will bring the intersection of art, music, and soccer. Fans who attend will be able to see Iconic Union moments in art form. Fans will have the opportunity to bid on the art pieces. Also happening during the event is a performance from a string quartet, as well as the opportunity to take a photo with both the Supporters Shield and Eastern Conference Final trophies.

If you want to pre-order the 2024 kit, you can fill out the form at this link. Fans will get an email with a special password later this week. This way when you go to the event on Saturday, you can pick up your kit. The team also says if you do pre-order the kit using the code, it must be picked up at the Kit Launch Event.

• Former Union player Michael Lahoud will be honored at Starfinder Foundation’s annual Cocktails with a Kick event on March 14.

• Union II striker Jose Riasco will not have a chance to represent his country in the Paris Olympics. Venezuela came up short in the final round of qualifying, falling to Paraguay on Sunday. Argentina and Paraguay will be the two Conmebol representatives in the tournament.

• Season 3 of Sunderland Till I Die is out today on Netflix.

• The Union’s primary and secondary logos will have the IBX logo on the right sleeve this season thanks to the team’s first official sleeve sponsorship deal with the health insurer.
